Call for Artists '09
Deadline is June 6, 2008
NICWA invites all artists to submit their original artwork for consideration as the image of the 27th Annual 'Protecting Our Children' Conference. A cash prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the selected artist. The selected artwork will be the centerpiece of the conference and represent a visual theme on NICWA's website and printed material reaching thousands. All art media will be considered, however, submissions must be available through electronic transfer (jpeg, tiff, etc.). As this is an Indian child welfare conference, artwork created by American Indians/Alaska Natives is strongly encouraged.
Submission Requirements
- Image of artwork (jpeg, gif or png only.)
- Biography of artist(s) including tribal affiliation, if applicable (doc, pdf or txt only)
- Description of artwork, including medium and size (doc, pdf or txt only)
- Each submission is limited to 5MB
A panel decision will be made by June 13, 2008. Notification of selection will be mailed by June 20, 2008. Please, no phone calls. Late submissions will not be accepted.
