$1,000 provides information, emotional support, and advocacy consultation to 25 Indian families working to protect their children’s rights OR provides child abuse prevention kits to over 100 tribes.
$4,000 provides instruction and materials for 25 parent trainers making a difference to 750 American Indian children.
$7,500 provides five days of technical assistance, improving the lives of hundreds of American Indian children and families.
$10,000 provides a policy review of emerging legislation and provides every tribal leader and members of Congress with an analysis of the potential impact of that legislation on American Indian children and families.
$25,000 sponsors NICWA’s annual Protecting Our Children Conference, the major annual national training event for those working on American Indian child welfare issues.
$50,000 underwrites an annual “Status of the Indian Child” report that policy makers and funders rely on to guide policy level decisions.
