Fannie Black (Yup’ik Eskimo) is project support for a variety of NICWA projects, including Government Affairs and Advocacy and Community Development. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Portland State University (PSU) in 2005. During her time at PSU she was an active member of a few student groups, and a leader in the American Indian Science and Engineering Society as co-president.
