Gisela Patterson (Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe) has been an employee of NICWA since November 7, 2001. She provides customer service to incoming callers, performs regular office duties, provides assistance/training to the support staff as needed, handles the building/parking issues, and has recently taken on some duties in management services. She continues to work on the organization's five-year goal recommendations set by our board, she works with many teams (support/admin, operations, safety, web, database, and proofing), and assists with overflow projects. She has done volunteer work for the Northwest Indian Veterans Association for 20 years, and she still helps with their events.
