Mark Anaruk, community development specialist, has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and an MEd in school guidance and counseling. Most recently, he was the program manager for Alaska Home Telehealth Monitoring Initiative, Alaska Federal Health Care Partnership, and prior to that was the program evaluator at Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, a former Circles of Care grantee site. He was born and raised in Portland but lived in Alaska for the past 25 years. His wife, Grace, is Yup’ik (Akiachak), and he is Inupiaq. (His father was from Selawik in northwest Alaska.) His family also includes his five children.
