About the Workshop
This one-day workshop is designed to prepare members of Indian communities to develop and implement a community-wide public awareness campaign to prevent child abuse and neglect. Participants learn how to develop a prevention committee, learn about the components of a public awareness campaign, and gain new ideas to prevent child abuse and neglect. Most importantly, participants begin to see themselves as community organizers-the foundation of a prevention campaign.
