Emily Hancock (Cherokee)
(503) 222-4044, Ext. 129
Emily’s desire as the communications assistant at NICWA is to create a constant connection between her work and her heart for Native communities. She seeks to engage donors and members through creative mediums (like communications, design, web, photo, and video) by sharing crucial child welfare practice information/resources and relevant, inspiring stories of the resilient Indigenous children and families NICWA works with every day. Emily’s favorite time of year is NICWA’s annual conference in April where she gets to meet with the communities she serves with the team at NICWA every day. She is eager to continue growing at NICWA and supporting the work the organization does.
