Amory Zschach, a Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma descendent, joined NICWA’s staff as Strategic Communications Manager in June 2018. Amory came to NICWA with a range of nonprofit and political organization communication and marketing experience where she has focused efforts in securing earned media, grassroots advocacy, and youth-focused programming. She is active in culturally specific leadership development with the Native American Youth and Family Center’s LEAD program and in supporting women candidates as the Women’s Caucus Communications Chair for the Democratic Party of Oregon. She has a degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of California, Irvine.
